Preaching Group: The Preaching Group meets again at 7pm on the 1st of Augaust and then on the 5th of September.

PresAID Appeal: Over the next three weeks there will be the opportunity to contribute to a special Pakistan Flood Appeal. This is reportedly one of the worst disasters in memory. Money given through PesAID will be distributed via the Pakistan Presbyterian Churches. It will be a great way for them to show practical compassion in a country where they are a clear minority and often on the receiving end of persecution.
Piano for Sale: The Board of Management has decided to sell the piano, with preference for it to go to a church family, or someone known to a member of our church. Cost: $1250 ONO. Please speak to David Graham by 22^nd August. You would need to arrange your own transport for moving the piano. If anyone is interested in the old organ, please also speak to David.

Gardens: Thank you to everyone for all your efforts at the recent working bee, when over 350 plants were planted in the new carpark, the courtyard and the Manse gardens. Could parents please make sure their children stay off the gardens, especially until the plants are established

Women’s Convention: This is to be held at Belgrave Heights Convention on Saturday 11^th September. Speakers are Jenny Salt and Lisa Watson. More details to follow soon.

Church Directory: A draft copy of the new Church Directory is on the table in the foyer. Could everyone please check their listing and make any changes that are necessary. Where there are no changes, please initial your entry after checking it. If your name is not listed, please use a space on the last page/s to add your details.

Craft Group: The craft group will meet at Henty’s for all of August.
Parking: Please remember to park only on the church side as the road is too narrow for easy flow of traffic when there are cars parked on both sides. It is very important that you do not park too close to people’s driveways as it makes it hard for them to get out and is a cause of some aggravation. If you are a regular and able bodied, please make sure you try the Swim School first and leave Batman Road for visitors and those less able to walk longer distances. Our new car park is close to being ready for use so please stayed tuned.
